Leather furniture does have the tendency to accentuate glare and reflective surfaces of chairs and other furniture do diminish the viewing experience. Avoid polished table tops, trays, storage units etc. Creaky chairs and other furniture that is noisy should also ideally be removed from a home theater. Swivel chairs are not advisable as they are distracting.
