What to expect After you order your Playground

by | Feb 18, 2012 | Shopping

In order for us to place a playground order we need two things:

1. 50% deposit

2. Signed signature verifying the cost and the color. This will be a binding contract.

After the playground contract is signed ET&T then sends the purchase order into the manufacture where we order engineered drawings for permitting of the playground.

We cannot submit for a permit until we get the signed and sealed drawings back form a certified architect. This process can take 2 to 4 weeks depending on the structure.

The playground takes 4 to 5 weeks to manufacture. Your playground is custom built for you and sale units are no exception. (The playground is not sitting in a warehouse ready to ship out as soon as the contract is signed.)

Permitting varies from city to city or county to county. Cost for permitting varies as well for each.

We have several steps in the permitting process that needs to be presented to the city or county and once again this varies with each county or city. We could have everything that is required for permitting but on many occasions the city/ county wants additional information or documentation that is not standard.

1. Register the project
2. Signed contract by both parties
3. Signed and sealed Engineered drawing # ?of copies
4. Signature from the owner of the property allowing us to install on their property.
5. Notice of Commencement
6. Site Plan

After the permitting is complete the playground then needs to be shipped to your location. Depending on this location it may take a 3 to 5 days to ship and delivery must be coordinated with the installer so that it can be off loaded.

The installer then proceeds to install. Once again the installation can take 3 to 4 days depending on the inspections and weather.
